Head Instructor- Stephanie Tyler
Stephanie is our head instructor and trainer at Sandstone Equestrian Center. She began riding horses in 2002 and has been riding at Sandstone since 2004. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2013 with a degree in elementary education but chose to pursue her passion of teaching horseback riding and the sport of Eventing. Stephanie has competing at the prelim/2* level with her thoroughbred mare Madison Avenue. They also earned their Bronze Medal in dressage together back in 2021. She continues to learn and grow in her teaching abilities through clinics and lessons with various skilled upper level riders. She competes and takes students to local schooling shows as well as recognized shows all thorough out Area III. Stephanie has a natural ability to take what  she learns and convey it to others. Her hard work, kindness and attention to detail shine through in her work with both horses and students.
